The last 2 months have been full of challenges and uncertainties. Thankfully, beginning Tuesday May 19, Family Dental is starting the gradual process of safely resuming full clinical operations.

During the reopening process, our team will contact you by phone, email, or text message to schedule your next appointment. Unless you have an urgent dental problem, please wait for the team to contact you.

We are proceeding to integrate a wide array of operational changes to ensure your safety during exams and treatment. Some of these changes include:

1. MANDATORY STAFF HEALTH CHECKS: all staff members are screened daily to ensure we are all healthy and symptom-free prior to caring for patients.
   
   
2. RESTRICTED ACCESS: to ensure your health and safety, and to comply with recent government legislation, only the patient (plus ONE chaperone for minors or patients with low mobility) will be permitted into the office. Additional siblings, parents, family, or friends will not be permitted to enter Family Dental office.
   
   
3. MANDATORY HEALTH SCREENING for patients: All patients are screened on the phone at the booking time and upon arrival. Temperature check is mandatory on arrival. Patient’s experiencing influenza-like symptoms must call the office to be rescheduled. The new appointment will be set for a minimum 14-days later of after a negative COVID-19 test.
   
   

We kindly ask all our patients to sanitize their hands at arrival in the office and before departing and follow the 6 ft distancing rule in the common areas of the practice.

We realize the new safety measures will change the way we are used to interacting with each other. It may take some time to get used to. However, I believe these changes will bring peace-of-mind while you or your family members are receiving dental care. Our goal is to ensure your health and safety!
